As-Is Service

Chickpea is a free, hobby project. It is provided "as-is" without any warranties.

• Accuracy: I cannot guarantee that the receipt scanning or math will always be 100% perfect. Always double-check the numbers before paying your bill.
• Uptime: The app might go down. I'm relying on free tiers from Vercel and Google, so service availability is not guaranteed.
• Performance: It might be slow sometimes. Again, free tiers.

Limitation of Liability

I am not liable for any issues that arise from using this app, including but not limited to incorrect bill splits or awkward social interactions if you underpay your friend.

Don't Be a Jerk

This app runs on free tier APIs which have limits (roughly 250 receipts/day and 10 receipts/minute). Please use it fairly:

• Don't spam upload the same receipt multiple times.
• Don't use this for your actual business accounting.
• I have no plans to add ads, monetization, or increase capacity, so once the daily limits are hit, they're hit.
